Ancestral Wisdom

Emotions the guideposts
Messages from those long passed
Send us on our way
Toward healing

The monument in this image is one built of spite. A man who died, “penniless and alone” (but with enough saved to see this built) laments his fate. His presence looms over an otherwise non-descript cemetery.

What drove him to build this? What drove our ancestors to build their lives on spite? Anger? Rage? If we cannot face their emotional imprint as carried in the expression of our genes, we will continue to pass them on, perpetuating a cycle of harm.

If you can but quiet your soul, you can begin to see beneath. Your triggers blaze light onto the pathway, showing you where to begin digging. If it’s hard to do it for you, do it for future generations. They need you, just like you needed those before you.
